Tom Abley
Tom Abley was an engineering worker and union convenor of shop stewards at the Sunbeam Talbot factory at Acton, West London.
A key union organiser at the factory, he led the opposition to post-war reductions there in 1945.
Abley was also the Industrial Organiser for Hayes Communist Party and the Party’s candidate for Hayes Urban District Council in 1946.
