Sylvia Shellard
Having joined the Communist Party in 1939, Sylvia Shellard’s life was one of constant activity until the onset of fatal illness three months before she died in 1990.
A branch secretary or treasurer of the Party and an organiser of Morning Star bazaars for many years she was also active in CND, the National Assembly of Women, Hospital Alert, the Hounslow Anti-Poll Tax campaign and many others.
