Arthur Walmsley
A life-long Communist, Arthur Walmsley joined the Communist Party in 1924.
He was a delegate representing Manchester engineering workers at the 1930 Red International of Labour Unions conference in Moscow.
A regular organiser of Fighting Fund collections for the Morning Star at the Eccles AEU club, Walmsley died aged 93.
