Ian Munro

Munro joined the Communist Party in the 1930s and was latterly a member of Govanhill branch, until joining Democratic Left on the dissolution of the CPGB.

He was Scottish circulation representative for the Daily Worker and Morning Star for over 20 years and trade union representative for other circulation reps in the west of Scotland.

He retired from the paper in 1969 and was a Scottish CND activist for decades.

Munro died in 2001 aged 94.
