Albert Garland


A Communist from Trealaw in South Wales, he was part of the 1932 Welsh Unemployed Workers Movement march to London in 1932.


Contemporary reports by Glamorgan Constabulary state: “He was living at 179 Ynscynon Road, Trealaw was aged 31 height 5'7”, brown hair and eyes, slight build and rather smart appearance, a strong supporter of Communist doctrines and has been previously convicted".
